This rapé comes from the tradition of the Huni Kuin tribe. Sometimes, it is also produced by the Kaxinawá peoples. Its composition usually includes ashes from the cacao bark (Theobroma Cacao), rarely also from its seeds. This tree grows wild on the banks of the Amazon, and its fruits are considered "the food of the gods."Theobromine contained in cocoa is a vasodilator alkaloid and a diuretic. This strong rapé is reddish. It contains less ash (compared to other mixes) and has an earthy aroma.
A rare and valuable product. We highly recommend it! We have limited supplies that come directly from the tribe. They were obtained from a friend who travels through South America and visits many tribes, with whom he regularly exchanges goods and whom he supports.
A collector's product, not for human consumption.
